I graduated in 2003 with a degree in English and French from Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi. In 2004 I studied at the University of Konstanz, Germany. In 2005 I defended my MA thesis at the University of Iasi.  In 2009 I defended my PhD thesis entitled Alice Munro’s Fiction at the University of Iasi. In 2009 I became a Junior Lecturer at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Iasi. In 2010 I became a postdoctoral fellow of the University of Iasi and the University of Freiburg, Germany. I am currently occupying the position of Assistant Professor at the English Department of the University of Iasi.
